Etnaland, Amusement park in Belpasso, Italy.
Etnaland brings together a theme park and a water park with roller coasters, water slides and family attractions at the base of Mount Etna. The site covers large grounds with separate zones for dry rides and water areas.
The park opened in 2001 and grew quickly into the largest entertainment complex in southern Italy. New attractions arrived in the following years to expand the offering.
Life-sized dinosaur replicas stand throughout the grounds, mixing education with entertainment for children and families. Sicilian families visit on weekends and summer holidays, making it a popular gathering spot.
The site remains closed for renovation until 2025 and will reopen with updated attractions and improved facilities. When planning a visit, check the latest reopening information.
Riders on the tallest coasters look directly at Mount Etna on clear days, which rises just a few kilometers away. The park sits so close to the active volcano that smoke and ash from eruptions can sometimes be visible from the grounds.
