Felifonte, Theme park in Castellaneta Marina, Italy.
Felifonte was a recreational park in Castellaneta Marina featuring water attractions, boat rides, and mining-themed adventures spread across its grounds. The site included around 19 hectares of developed parkland with dedicated areas for entertainment and educational experiences.
The park opened in August 2003 following a preliminary testing period and welcomed visitors for several years. It closed permanently in 2008 after financial difficulties made it impossible to continue operations.
The park's theme centered on a fictional ancient civilization called the Felici people, which shaped how the attractions were designed and presented. Visitors could explore this imaginary culture throughout the different areas of the site.
The site was easily accessible with plenty of space to explore through different pathways across the grounds. Access was convenient from Castellaneta Marina with adequate facilities for parking and visitor amenities.
After the park closed, the venue hosted performances by popular Italian musicians between 2008 and 2010. This gave the site a second life as a music and entertainment space before it later became a nightclub.
