Teatro delle Muse

Teatro delle Muse is an opera house and theater building in Ancona featuring more than one thousand seats arranged across multiple levels. The hall follows a traditional horseshoe shape with elaborate decorative details throughout its interior surfaces.

The theater opened in 1827 under architect Pietro Ghinelli's design and shaped the city's cultural landscape for nearly two centuries. Following extensive restoration work, the building reopened to the public in 2002 with renewed splendor.

The theater serves as a cultural meeting point where audiences gather to experience opera, classical music, and dramatic works throughout the year. Its ornate interior creates a formal setting that marks each visit as a special occasion.
