Tosio Martinengo Gallery, Art museum in historical center of Brescia, Italy
The Tosio Martinengo Gallery exhibits over 800 paintings and sculptures across 21 rooms in the Palazzo Martinengo da Barco, a 16th-century building.
The gallery, established in 1851 with Count Paolo Tosio's collection, received additional artworks from Count Leopardo Martinengo da Barco in 1884.
The collection features Renaissance masterpieces by Raphael, including Christ Blessing, alongside works by local artists Vincenzo Foppa and Lorenzo Lotto.
The museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, Saturday until 21:00, and Sunday until 18:00, with full wheelchair access throughout.
Following a nine-year renovation completed in 2018, the gallery displays artworks chronologically from the 13th to 18th centuries in color-coordinated rooms.
