Bottini dell'olio, Baroque architectural ensemble in Livorno, Italy.
Built in the 17th century, Bottini dell'olio features stone walls, vaulted ceilings, and a harmonious symmetrical layout spanning multiple levels.
The structure, designed by Giovanni del Fantasia, initially served as a storage facility for olive oil traded through Livorno's maritime routes.
The building houses the Museum of the City and Labronica Library, containing 57,000 volumes and hosting regular art exhibitions.
Visitors can access the facility Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with internet terminals and reading spaces for 100 people.
The renovation from 2008 to 2015 incorporated modern lighting systems while maintaining the original architectural elements of the structure.
