The church features a large stained glass facade and a suspended tabernacle centered within a polychrome glass rosette at its interior.

Pope Paul VI commissioned the construction of this church in 1965 to mark one thousand years of Poland's evangelization.

The church contains an authentic replica of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa icon, mounted above the stainless steel main altar.

The church provides religious services and community activities at Largo Augusto Corelli 9, with regular mass schedules for local residents.

Since November 2004, the church houses the remains of Venerable Lorena D'Alessandro, who died at age 16 and whose beatification process began.
