The New Castle functions as a Contemporary Art Center exhibiting works by international artists such as Paul McCarthy, Luigi Ottani, and Charles Ray.

The structure merges medieval architecture with present-day art installations, featuring a high crenellated tower and Gothic windows in the Old Castle section.
