Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace is a modern skyscraper in Brescia's Due district that rises approximately 110 meters across 27 floors. Its facade is covered with blue glass panels that clad the reinforced concrete structure beneath.

Construction began in 1988 and sparked a dispute with the Lombardy Region over the building's height, requiring design modifications before completion in 1992. This project marked a turning point in Brescia's modern architectural development.

The east entrance features a musical fountain with metal bells activated by water movement, creating sounds as visitors pass by.

The building is accessible through its ground floor, which houses a commercial gallery, with three additional underground levels serving various functions. It is best visited during the day when the entrance areas are active and the architecture is clearly visible.

A large helipad sits atop the roof, serving as a functional landing area while also marking the highest point in Brescia's skyline. This feature gives the building a distinctive role in the city's visual landscape.
