Palazzina Liberty

The Palazzina Liberty is a single-story Art Nouveau pavilion in a public park featuring large windows and ceramic tile details on both exterior and interior surfaces. The design displays characteristic period elements with decorative motifs throughout the spaces.

The building was designed in 1908 by architect Alberto Migliorini and initially served as a cafe-restaurant within Milan's fruit and vegetable market. It remained in this role for more than 50 years before its function changed.

The pavilion serves as a space for chamber music performances and attracts visitors interested in classical concerts. Performances here take advantage of the room's acoustics and intimate setting for audiences.

The pavilion is located within a public park open to visitors and hosts concerts and cultural events regularly. Check opening times in advance and allow time to explore the surrounding park area.

In the 1970s, theater director Dario Fo transformed this former market building into a performance space for experimental theater productions. This period marked a shift from its commercial past to a place for artistic exploration.
