Parco del Monte Subasio, Regional park in Perugia, Italy.

The park stretches over 7,186 hectares of land, featuring Mount Subasio with an elevation of 1,290 meters and rounded silhouette resembling a turtle back.

Founded in March 1995, the protected area gained importance during the 10th century BC when local populations established spiritual connections to Mount Subasio.

The park includes several municipalities such as Assisi, Nocera Umbra, Spello, and Valtopina, each contributing to the preservation of regional traditions.

Multiple access points provide entry to marked trails, with visitor centers offering maps, educational materials, and guidance for outdoor activities.

Three rivers define the natural boundaries: Tescio to the north, Chiona to the south-east, and Topino to the east.
