Palazzo dei Cerchi, Medieval palace in central Florence, Italy.
The palace stands between Vicolo dei Cerchi, Via dei Cimatori, and Via della Condotta, featuring stone walls with regular blocks and lowered arches.
Built between the late 13th and early 14th centuries, the palace belonged to different branches of the Cerchi family who remained in Florence after the Black Guelphs banishment.
During the 15th century, the palace housed Bernardo Cennini's printing press, which produced Florence's first printed book in 1471.
The ground floor spaces have hosted various commercial activities throughout centuries, maintaining the building's connection to Florence's business district.
The palace incorporated the ancient Alepri Tower and displays one of Florence's oldest protruding rusticated stonework at ground level.
