Located between Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, the Palazzo della Ragione features a quadrangular layout with a central courtyard surrounded by porticos.
After the earthquake of 1117, the Commune constructed this building as one of the first public palaces in Italy, serving as Verona's town hall.
The palace houses the Achille Forti Modern Art Gallery, displaying an extensive collection of 19th and 20th-century visual arts within its historical walls.
The palace opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:30 PM, allowing visitors to explore its architectural features.
In 1226, representatives from various Italian cities gathered in this palace to renew the Lombard League against Emperor Frederick Barbarossa.
