Palazzo Gambirasi, Aristocratic palace in Ponte district, Rome, Italy.
The Palazzo Gambirasi stands four stories tall on Via della Pace, featuring a rectangular portal with decorative framing and the Gambirasi family crest.
Merchant Donato Gambirasi from Bergamo purchased the land in 1657, and architect Giovanni Antonio de Rossi completed the construction between 1658 and 1660.
The building housed notable residents including architect Giovanni Azzurri and librarian-poet Domenico Gnoli throughout its extensive history in Rome.
The palace contains multiple shop entrances at ground level and is currently owned by the Germanic Institutes of Santa Maria dell'Anima.
From 1891 to 2016, the building contained Caffe della Pace, which served as a central meeting point for Roman society.
