Pizzo dei Tre Confini

Pizzo dei Tre Confini is a mountain peak in the Bergamo Alps within Lombardy. It rises to approximately 2,800 meters and sits at a location where three countries converge on the map.

The peak has long marked the point where the borders of Italy, Switzerland, and Austria meet in the Alpine range. Its name directly reflects this geographical significance.

Local mountaineering groups maintain several climbing routes to the summit, continuing the Alpine traditions of the Lombardy region.

Reaching the summit requires proper alpine equipment and physical preparation along with stable weather conditions. The best season for climbing runs from June through September, when snow has melted and conditions are safest.

The peak features three distinct ridges that extend toward the neighboring territories, offering experienced climbers different ascent routes. Each ridge follows natural formations and provides a slightly different climbing experience.
