The Rifugio Stivo Prospero Marchetti is a mountain hut located at 2012 meters (6600 feet) in Trentino with 23 beds, positioned to overlook Lake Garda and surrounding Alpine summits. Built in 1906, this shelter has continuously served hikers and mountaineers for over a century with various improvements made over time. Recent renovations added thermal and photovoltaic solar systems to reduce the facility's environmental footprint at this remote elevation.
