Villa Basilewsky, Historical villa in central Florence, Italy.

Villa Basilewsky stands near Fortezza da Basso gardens on Viale Strozzi, adjacent to the Mugnone stream in Florence's central district.

Russian diplomat Alexander Basilewsky and his wife Olga Nikolaevna constructed this villa as their Tuscan vacation residence during the 19th century.

The villa's location near the Russian Orthodox Church of Nativity reflects the strong Russian presence in Florence during the 1800s.

The building now functions as a medical facility, specializing in dermatological treatments and addiction care services for the local community.

Following Olga's death, her son Petr Aleksandrovich donated the property to create a public hospital named after his mother.
