Riserva Naturale Del Meisino, Protected area at Po River confluence in Turin and San Mauro Torinese, Italy.
The reserve spans 245 hectares of wetlands and riverbanks along the Po River, where the Stura di Lanzo and Dora Riparia rivers meet.
The area underwent significant changes in 1952 with the construction of a stone embankment to prevent flooding from the Po River.
Environmental education programs and guided tours inform visitors about local ecosystems and conservation practices throughout the protected area.
The reserve maintains extensive walking and cycling paths, with access to sports facilities including soccer fields and beach volleyball courts.
The Bertolla Island, created in 1953 by the Pascolo Dam, contains the only urban heron colony in Italy.
