Bicknell Museum

The Bicknell Museum is a natural history and archaeological institution with neo-medieval architecture, a rectangular footprint, and four Roman-style columns framing its entrance. The building contains extensive collections spanning art, archaeology, and natural specimens alongside a substantial research library.

Founded in 1888 by Clarence Bicknell, it became the region's first museum dedicated to archaeological and botanical study. This establishment marked the beginning of organized heritage preservation in western Liguria.
