FICO Eataly World

FICO Eataly World is a large food production complex near Bologna featuring numerous working facilities for Italian specialties and multiple restaurants and bars throughout the site. The place demonstrates the full production of pasta, cheese, cured meats, wine, and other regional products in functioning workshops.

The site was founded in 2017 as a project between the founder of Eataly and local business partners to create a center for Italian food production. Since then, it has become a popular destination for those wanting to understand where Italian food comes from.

Inside the complex, visitors watch how traditional Italian food is made through demonstrations of pasta production, cheese crafting, and wine creation. These working processes show how regional techniques remain central to food making today.

The complex is open daily and you can walk around freely to explore the various production facilities. Additionally, there are paid experiences available such as cooking classes and guided tours if you want to go deeper.
