FICO Eataly World, Food theme park near Bologna, Italy
FICO Eataly World encompasses 100,000 square meters of space dedicated to Italian food production, featuring 40 manufacturing facilities and 25 restaurants.
The establishment opened its doors in November 2017 as a joint venture between Eataly founder Oscar Farinetti and regional business partners.
Inside the complex, visitors observe traditional Italian food production methods through demonstrations of pasta making, cheese production, and wine processing.
The facility operates daily from 10:00 AM to midnight, with free entry and optional paid experiences including cooking classes and guided tours.
Four acres of agricultural fields within the park grow Italian crops while farm animals demonstrate the complete food production cycle.
