Santa Lucia, Catholic church in Bergamo, Italy.
The church features a cylindrical structure with a hemispherical dome reaching 30 meters in height, covered in Credaro stone and Zandobbio marble.
The current Santa Lucia church was built after World War II to fulfill a vow made by Bergamo citizens in 1943, receiving consecration in 1952.
The church interior contains notable artworks, including a large mosaic created in 1968 and an altarpiece attributed to Francesco Capella.
The church serves as the main parish for the Conca d'Oro district of Bergamo, hosting regular liturgical services and community gatherings.
The temple features a special inscription placed during consecration expressing gratitude to the Madonna for bringing peace to the city.
