Rifugio Nello Conti, Mountain refuge in Alpi Apuane, Italy

The place accommodates roughly 24 people and works well as a stop on multi-day hiking routes through established trails. The best time to visit is between May and September, when conditions favor mountain activities.
The building was specifically constructed using eco-friendly methods and recognized by park authorities for its environmental practices. This recognition makes it a rare example of an ecologically designed mountain shelter in the region.
