Life-size replicas of historical buildings and street scenes show how people lived and worked in Edo and later in Tokyo. Visitors walk through reconstructed merchant shops, homes, and workshops that make daily life from earlier centuries tangible.

An oversized replica of the Nihonbashi bridge stands in the main hall and invites visitors to walk across it. A detailed reconstruction of an Edo-period town scene spreads around it.
