Kiso, Administrative town in Nagano Prefecture, Japan

The town of Kiso extends across 476 square kilometers of mountainous terrain in southwestern Nagano Prefecture, bordering Gifu Prefecture to the west.

The current municipality formed on November 1, 2005, through the consolidation of Kiso-Fukushima town with the villages of Hiyoshi, Kaida, and Mitake.
