Kampong Speu Province

Kampong Speu Province spans 7,017 square kilometers of fertile plains and hills, making it the eleventh largest administrative division in Cambodia.

The province was formally established in 1907 following Cambodia's independence from French colonial administration, with Chbar Mon designated as its capital city.

Buddhist temples across the province maintain traditional ceremonies, with 99.8 percent of residents following Buddhist practices and maintaining religious customs.

The province contains eight administrative districts connected by local roads, providing transportation links to Phnom Penh and neighboring regions for trade.

Phnom Aural, located within the province's Cardamom Mountains, stands as Cambodia's highest peak at 1,813 meters above sea level.
