Olympic Stadium

The Olympic Stadium is a multipurpose sports facility in Phnom Penh featuring a large concrete structure with a decorative roof and connected indoor hall. The venue accommodates around 8,000 spectators and serves for sporting competitions, concerts, and cultural events.

The stadium was completed between 1963 and 1964 as an ambitious construction project that modernized Phnom Penh during the post-independence era. Building the structure required extensive earthwork to establish a solid foundation on challenging terrain.
