Pyeongtaek

Located 70 kilometers south of Seoul, Pyeongtaek integrates Samsung's semiconductor plant, LG Digital Park, and strategic military installations along the Yellow Sea coast.

Founded in 1940 through the merger of two districts during the Goryeo dynasty, Pyeongtaek gained city status in 1986 and later hosted major US military relocations.
