Art Sonje Center is a contemporary art museum in Seoul consisting of four interconnected buildings housing exhibition galleries, lecture halls, and support spaces. Within the complex you will find a restaurant, a cafe, and a shop selling art-related items and publications.

The center opened in 1998 as a venue dedicated to experimental contemporary art and international artistic exchange in Seoul's cultural district. This founding moment introduced a new way of presenting modern art to the city's audiences.

The center is named after Kim Seon-jae, eldest son of Daewoo Group chairman Kim Woo-choong, who died in a traffic accident in 1990 at a young age; his mother Jeong Hee-ja founded it. Since opening in 1998 it has run exhibitions, screenings, performances and education programs. The CineCode Sonje theater shows independent films.
