Мост Нурлы Жол, Bridge crossing in Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan
The Nurly Zhol Bridge crosses the Irtysh River and connects two important towns in the region. It was built to accommodate cars, pedestrians, and cyclists moving across the waterway safely.
Work on this bridge started in 2014 and finished two years later. The project was a major infrastructure effort to improve connections in the region.
The bridge represents Kazakhstan's infrastructure advancement, connecting the cities of Pavlodar and Aksu while reducing travel distance by 40 kilometers.
The bridge has well-maintained driving lanes with separate pathways for pedestrians and cyclists. Travel during daylight hours for the best views of the surrounding landscape and river.
The bridge construction utilized Swiss engineering technology, requiring 13.5 tons of metal structures and 140,000 cubic meters of concrete for completion.
