Church of the Visitation, Trakai

The red brick Church of the Visitation stands on the Trakai peninsula, featuring Gothic architecture with later Baroque modifications and triple naves meeting at an asymmetric apse.

Grand Duke Vytautas of Lithuania established the church in 1409, using materials from Trakai Island Castle during its construction in the early fifteenth century.
