Hôtel de la Chambre des Députés

The Hôtel de la Chambre des Députés is a parliament building in Luxembourg City located next to the Grand Ducal Palace in the Ville Haute. It features 19th-century architecture and serves as the workplace where the national legislature passes laws.

Architect Antoine Hartmann designed the building in 1857, with construction completed between 1858 and 1860 to establish a permanent seat for Luxembourg's Chamber of Deputies. During World War II, German forces occupied and repurposed the structure for their own operations.

The building sits at the heart of the old town and shows how much Luxembourg values its parliamentary traditions. Inside, elected representatives gather to debate laws that shape the nation.

Visitors can see and photograph the building from outside, as it sits in an accessible area of the old town. For entry to the interior, check in advance since guided visits may be limited.
