The Luxembourg City History Museum presents over 500 original objects across 2,200 square meters of exhibition space on three underground levels.
The museum, which opened its doors in 1996, chronicles the transformation of Luxembourg from a 10th-century fortress into a modern European financial center.
Through multimedia presentations and urban scale models, visitors can examine seventeen different aspects of Luxembourg's social development across four major time periods.
Located at 14 rue du Saint Esprit, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00, with extended hours until 20:00 on Thursdays.
The facility features a panoramic elevator that connects different exhibition levels while offering views of the historical architecture throughout the journey.
