Judiciary City, Baroque judicial complex in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
The Judiciary City encompasses multiple buildings arranged around public plazas with colored concrete facades that form a cohesive architectural ensemble.
The site transformed from military barracks into a central judicial hub following its official inauguration on October 6, 2008.
The buildings incorporate design elements that promote interaction between different legal departments while maintaining clear pathways for public access.
The complex consolidates numerous legal departments and judiciary functions that were previously scattered across different locations throughout Luxembourg City.
Each structure features load-bearing concrete facades designed by architect Rob Krier, creating a unified visual language throughout the 240,000-square-meter development.
