Popova Šapka, Ski resort in Tetovo Municipality, North Macedonia
The winter sports facility extends across multiple elevations from 1708 to 2525 meters, offering 20 kilometers of marked runs for different skill levels.
The development of skiing infrastructure in Popova Šapka started in the mid-twentieth century, transforming the mountain area into a regional winter sports destination.
The resort maintains local Macedonian traditions through its mountain restaurants, where visitors experience regional dishes between skiing sessions on the slopes.
Nine ski lifts transport visitors across the resort, with equipment rental facilities and skiing instruction available for newcomers to the sport.
The resort provides access to 30 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, featuring extensive views of the surrounding Šar Mountains during winter months.
