The Gran Castello Historic House consists of interconnected medieval houses situated on Bernardo DeOpuo Street within the Citadel walls of Victoria.
The buildings, dating from the 16th century, demonstrate architectural elements influenced by Sicilian design, reflecting the period when the Chiaramonte family governed Malta.
The museum exhibits display traditional Gozitan lifestyles through collections of agricultural tools, crafting equipment, and domestic items from past centuries.
The museum maintains different entry fees for adults at €5.00, youth and seniors at €3.50, while children under 6 years enter without charge.
A large mill room on the ground floor contains a beast-driven mechanism alongside displays of traditional carpentry and blacksmith equipment.
