St Mark's Tower, Medieval watchtower in Naxxar, Malta

St Mark's Tower stands on Qrejten Point with a square base of 8 meters on each side and reaches a height of 12 meters.

The Knights Hospitaller constructed this defensive structure in 1658 as part of a network of thirteen watchtowers ordered by Grand Master Martin de Redin.

The tower represents the military architecture of the Knights of Malta, featuring a design with two floors and a cannon platform on the roof.

Access to St Mark's Tower requires advance arrangements through Din l-Art Ħelwa, the organization managing the historical structure.

A three-pounder iron gun was mounted on the tower's roof in 1792, transforming it from an observation post into an armed defensive position.
