ELJ Communications Center, Media office complex in South Triangle, Philippines
The ELJ Communications Center is a media complex in the South Triangle district consisting of two connected structures of different heights. The taller building rises 15 stories while the adjacent one stands 12 stories, with both linked by connecting passages throughout their interior.
Planning began in 1995, but construction stalled due to the Asian Financial Crisis that swept through Southeast Asia in the late 1990s. The project was eventually completed and opened to the public in 2000.
The building houses offices for Star Cinema and broadcasting studios that are part of the Philippines' entertainment and media production sector. These spaces shape the daily work of journalists and creators across the city.
The building is well-equipped with six elevators and offers parking spaces across three basement levels for visitors and staff. A helipad on the roof provides specialized access for those who need it.
The complex received status as a PEZA Special Economic Zone and was among the first locations in the country to have 4G LTE connectivity in 2013. This early digital infrastructure made it a pioneer for high-speed connectivity in office buildings.
