Iqbal Park, Urban park in Lahore, Pakistan
Greater Iqbal Park spans over 125 acres, featuring a central lake, library, food court, open-air gym, and an 800-feet musical fountain.
The park grounds served as ceremonial military parade grounds during the Mughal era and later became known as Minto Park under British rule.
The park contains the Minar-e-Pakistan monument and hosts the National History Museum, Pakistan's first digital museum, inaugurated in 2018.
Visitors can access the park through Azadi Chowk Metro Bus Station and enjoy free admission from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
The Pakistan Resolution of 1940, which laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan, was passed at this location during a summer gathering.
