Sargodha Cantonment

Sargodha Cantonment is a military area that covers about 79 square kilometers (30 square miles), with residential neighborhoods, government buildings, and military facilities located near PAF Base Mushaf. The space is organized with distinct sections, separating living quarters from administrative and operational areas.

Sargodha Cantonment was established in 1959 when the Cantonment Board began operations to manage defense lands and build military administration across Punjab. This development transformed the area into a key military and administrative center in the province.

You can move around the cantonment freely, but know that some areas are restricted or off-limits to the public. It is best to keep a respectful distance from military facilities and follow any local rules posted in the area.

The cantonment is home to one of the country's largest airbases and the Combat Commanders School, where fighter pilots receive advanced training. This school is recognized for its rigorous program and plays a major role in training Pakistan Air Force pilots.
