Shrine of Jalaluddin Bukhari

The Shrine of Jalaluddin Bukhari is a brick structure with hand-carved wooden pillars and glazed tiles decorated with floral and geometric patterns. The interior contains the saint's grave along with several family burials, accessed through an ornately carved wooden entrance door.

The original shrine suffered flood damage, leading to the saint's remains being relocated to Uch and a new structure built. The shrine has since become an important religious center in the region.

The shrine draws visitors throughout the year, especially during the annual Mela festival when believers gather to pray together and honor the saint. The gathering shows how central this site remains to the spiritual life of the local community.

The shrine is easily accessible and visitors should wear modest clothing and respect the religious customs of the site. Visiting early in the day allows for a quieter experience and time to explore the space comfortably.

The shrine features an interior partition system that allows women to pray according to local traditions while keeping the main chamber reserved for men. This thoughtful design shows how the site integrates long-standing practices into its physical layout.
