Pruszków County is an administrative district in the Masovian Voivodeship located west of Warsaw. It comprises six municipalities of different types, including urban and rural areas that form a mixed landscape shaped by residential and industrial development.
The county was established in 1999 as Poland underwent major local government reforms following the collapse of communist rule. Since then, it has developed into a significant residential and economic hub connected to the capital.
The region maintains strong educational institutions across its six districts, serving a population that grew from 165,000 in 2019 to 178,000 in 2023.
The area is easily reached from Warsaw through multiple road connections and public transportation links. Visitors should expect varying levels of development, with some sections densely populated and others retaining a more rural character.
