Jaworzyna Krynicka, Mountain summit in Nowy Sącz County, Poland.
Jaworzyna Krynicka is a 1,114-meter (3,655 feet) peak in the eastern Sądecki Beskids, located near Krynica-Zdrój. The summit is surrounded by coniferous forests and offers marked hiking trails as well as cable car access.
The mountain's modern development began in the late 20th century with the installation of a cable car, which simplified access to the peak. Since then, it has become a popular winter sports and hiking destination.
The mountain region preserves traditional shepherding culture, and visitors can experience local cheese production and folk customs in the surrounding villages.
You can reach the summit by cable car from Czarny Potok or by following marked hiking trails from nearby villages. Weather-appropriate clothing is recommended, as conditions at the top can change quickly.
The summit has a viewing platform that reveals four mountain ranges on clear days: the Gorce, the Low Beskids, the Radziejowa Range, and the Tatra Mountains. Many visitors miss this broad panorama when visiting the area.
