Banino, Village in Gmina Żukowo, Poland.

Banino extends across 779 hectares of land in northern Poland, positioned 15 kilometers west of Gdańsk and 7 kilometers northeast of Żukowo.

Duke Mestwin II of Gdańsk-Pomerania transferred the lands of Banino to the Cistercian monastery in Oliwa during 1283, marking its first documented mention.

The original St. Michael's Church, established by Cistercian monks, remained visible through its foundations until the 17th century before disappearing completely.

Transportation networks include ZKM buses connecting to Gdańsk and Wrzeszcz, while PKS buses provide service to Kartuzy and the nearby PKP railway line.

Modern industrial development brought large factories to Banino, including Algida and Eljot, alongside numerous metalwork and construction workshops.
