Głusk

Głusk is a residential district in southeastern Lublin, combining apartment buildings, single-family homes, and local shops within walking distance. Public transportation links connect the neighborhood to the city center and surrounding areas.

The area began as an independent village and became part of Lublin in 1988 as the city expanded southward. This merger transformed it from a rural settlement into an urban residential district.

The district maintains strong community bonds through regular gatherings, local festivals, and events organized by the district administration throughout the year.

The neighborhood is well served by public buses with regular connections to the city center and other districts. Daily necessities like shops, schools, and healthcare facilities are spread throughout the residential area.

The district shares its name with an administrative region, Gmina Głusk, which surrounds Lublin but operates as a separate entity from the city district.
