Przemysł I bridge, Road bridge in Wilda district, Poznań, Poland
Przemysł I bridge spans roughly 215 meters across the Warta River and connects the districts of Wilda and Rataje with four spans. The structure carries the second ring road along Hetmańska Street.
The bridge opened on June 30, 1973 and was originally part of National Road 11 and European route E261. Administrative reforms in 2012 and 2014 changed its road classification.
The structure is named after Przemysł I, a duke from Greater Poland's history, reflecting local traditions of honoring historical figures through infrastructure. This naming practice is common throughout the city and connects people to the region's past.
The bridge serves as a key traffic route between the eastern and western parts of the city with steady vehicle use throughout the day. Access is straightforward, and navigation is simple since it forms part of the established ring road network.
Following a major reconstruction in 2005, the bridge received new regional road classifications. It now forms part of two voivodeship roads, which underscores its role as a connecting structure in the wider region.
