The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary church is a contemporary place of worship in the Rataje district featuring an unusual boomerang shape with a sloping roof supported by vertical steel columns. The structure spans two stories and includes a prominent eastern cross section with parking facilities available on the grounds.

The church arose from the Rataje housing estates built from 1966, whose residents belonged to the parish of St. Roch. After repeated refusals, the city granted permission in 1976 for one church serving 120,000 faithful, and a temporary chapel was erected in 1977. The two-level design by Marek Eibl and Stanisław Sołtyk was approved in 1979, construction began that year, and the upper church was built between 1983 and 1990. The parish church was consecrated on 4 May 1997.

The church functions as a gathering place for the local Catholic community and anchors the district as a contemporary religious center. It serves as a meeting point for residents who come together for services and community events throughout the year.
