Airship hangar in Poznań, Military airship hangar in Winogrady, Poland.
The hangar measured 170 meters in length, 28 meters in height, and 36 meters in width, constructed to accommodate the Zeppelin Z4 airship.
The Arthur Mueller company built the hangar in 1913, which later housed the German LZ 30 Z XI and Polish Lech airships until its capture in 1919.
The facility served as the foundation for the Polish Aeronautical Officer School, which conducted training using German equipment under French instructions.
Only concrete foundation fragments remain on the green strip separating Solidarity Avenue, with mooring blocks visible in Czarnecki Park.
The landing field near the hangar, known as Zeppelin Meadow, became a battlefield where a German Tiger tank destroyed multiple Soviet vehicles.
