Praia do Canal

Praia do Canal is a beach in Aljezur that stretches along Portugal's southwestern coast, characterized by sand mixed with rock formations and coastal cliffs. A seasonal stream called Ribeira do Barranco do Canal flows into the ocean at the northern end, creating distinct water conditions where it meets the sea. This freshwater input affects the local marine environment and bathing experience in that area.
