Rančić Family house in Grocka

The Rančić Family House features traditional Serbian architecture with a ground floor layout, two terraces, wooden beams, stone foundations, and a four-sided ceramic tile roof with protective eaves.

Built in the late 18th century, this residence originally served the Rančić family for several generations and exemplifies Kosovo-style architecture typical of rural Serbian dwellings from that historical period.

Since 1966, the house has been recognized as a cultural monument of great significance and currently serves as Grocka's cultural center, hosting art exhibitions, concerts, workshops, and community gatherings.

Located at coordinates 44.6722°N and 20.7175°E near Belgrade, the house is accessible via local roads and offers guided tours, with its spacious courtyard providing venues for outdoor events during summer months.

The interior retains authentic period furniture including an old piano and vintage lighting fixtures, while the courtyard displays sculptural artworks that reflect local craftsmanship and artistic traditions of the region.
