Museum of Illusions

The Museum of Illusions is an interactive museum focused on optical illusions and visual phenomena. The collection includes more than 80 works, including holographic art installations, mirror rooms, and perspective-based spaces built on scientific principles.

The museum opened in 2018 and is part of a global network that started in Zagreb. The facility belongs to a growing movement to make optical perception and scientific concepts accessible to the general public.

Visitors can question their perception here and learn how their brain interprets images. The exhibits show how light and perspective shape the way we see reality.

The museum is located near the old town and is accessible to visitors of all ages. The exhibits can be best experienced by taking time to explore and try out each installation.

The Vortex Tunnel is a remarkable installation that creates physical disorientation as visitors attempt to walk across a static bridge while surrounded by a rotating cylinder. This immersive experience is one of the most memorable moments in the museum.
