Belogorsk is a town in Amur Oblast, Russia, situated on the Tom River at an elevation of 170 meters (558 feet). Gentle hills and agricultural fields surround the urban area, which includes a station on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
The village of Aleksandrowskoje was founded in 1860 as a settlement for Russian peasants and received town status in 1926. Several name changes followed until the place adopted its current name in 1957.
